Yoyo!! How's ya doing yo! This week seems kinda busy for me yo!
Cause of working yo! Haha. Ok, I will stop the "yo, yo" thing now.

Just to let you know, I am typing this post while drinking
Amsterdam Maximator Beer. It contains 11.6% of alcohol.
Hahaha. No, I am not drunk. I am SUPER sober now. LOLs.
It has great taste. So MUCH BETTER than Tiger, Heineken, Carlsberg.
Those who drink, envy me!!! HAHAHA!! XDXD
I am drinking now and you can't!!! LOLS.

Hmm, I can say this beer is one of my favourites from now on.
My favourite beer is Baron. XDXD

Ok, enough of beer, let's continue the post.
Well, went to work. Seems to more busy than the last time
I worked there. More things to do. Cause only me and one more
colleague at there. Not enough people.

Friday the usual, went to meet with the Veterans.
Next up is a piece of great news!!!
Which is.....

~I got accepted into Diploma Plus Program!!!!!!!!~

Yes, you got it. I am accepted into the program.
Indeed, my GPA did allowed me to secure a place.
Well, Shu Hui got accepted too.
Congrats to Faiz too!!! He got accepted too!!!
Haha. With his 3.8 GPA, if he did not get accepted then
it must be something wrong.

But still, I must work much harder to improve my GPA
or at least maintain it. You can say whatever you want.
Cause this is the process to reach my goal. :)

Need to choose GEM module next week.
Next semester gonna be busy.
With Marketing, GEM module and Our Nation, Our World.
Not forgetting the core modules.

2 more weeks till school reopen. So fast, really.

Damn nice right? The car model is Mazda RX-7.
It is the car used in Initial D and The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift.
This car is one of my favourites. :)

Just now went to gym with Chee Yong.
Went for the Diploma Plus briefing on Friday morning.
Saw Priscilla then Dexter and Jonathan inside the LT.

Seems that the position for the classes depend on merit.
So I can say that I am quite safe to secure a place unless
there are a lot of people who applied got higher than me.
This is possible you know?

Shu Hui also applied the same Diploma Plus as me.
Good thing is that after I got accepted into it, I can
be exempted from the first module cause it is
A Maths.

The criteria to get exempted is as follow:
"Those with B3, A2, or A1 for A Maths for O level are classified
as students with good A maths background and hence, they will
get exempted."

Cool, isn't it? Which means I pay $100 less for the fees. Haha.
This coming Tuesday I am going to work!! Yea!!
Though the job is my previous one, which is Mini-mart assistant.
Hey, its better than nothing right? Its difficult to find job now.
With the money I going to earn, I can buy a new phone.
Omnia HD is the one I planning to buy. At last can throw away this
shitty W910i phone I currently using. XD

Ok, now for the reflection part.

~Reflection~

I was doing my running routine on Saturday.
After I finished my run, I saw crowds of people near the RC.
Being curious, I walked over and see what's the commotion.

What I saw in the crowd were parents, grandparents
sat on the chairs supplied to them while their children or
grandchildren were playing games.

Then I realized it was a celebration organized by the RC to
commemorate Children's Day and Mid-Autumn Festival after
glancing at the big banner in front of me.

"No wonder there are so many children here..."
That's what going through my mind that time.

So I stood at one side and see those children play.
Suddenly, I heard a voice who belongs to a grandfather
who is in his 60s I guessed, cheering for his grand daughter.
I was kinda shocked. Imagine a grandfather in his 60s cheering
for his grand daughter and he was agitated throughout his cheering.

Well, this shows that the elderly are still as energetic. Not like we usually
think they are weak, lifeless etc.

The sight of the laughter of the children made me feel nostalgia.
It made me think back my primary school days.

Every weekend, the group of us, Soon Eng, Chze Kian, Chze Kuan,
Jian Hao, Ching Liang, Jia Wen and I and sometimes Doreen,
would always meet up in the playground near our house and play
games like Iceman, block catching and not forgetting the famous
Pokemon Card Game. We enjoyed every game we played.

Still remember what a evil brat I was when I first met them.
They avoided me for sometime. HAHAHAHHA XDXDXD

Ah, also not forgetting the playing cards kakis.
This include Ivan, Wee Tat and Kok Wee plus Chze Kian, Ching Liang.
Jian Hao and I. Every match we played against one another was so
fun and memorable.

Also, whenever  there was event organized by the RC, we would always
go and play. Aahhhhh~~~~ how nostalgia~~~~~~~

During primary school, we do not need to care about things happened
around us. Just play and study when exams are approaching.
We went on to secondary school, the kakis went to ITE, Ching Liang
was taking his O levels that time.

We started to meet new friends in secondary school, less time to play
and more time was spent in studies and CCA. We began to think more.
Start to plan on the route we want to go, what we want to become when
we grow up. All of us went separate ways...

Life gets complicated when we grow with time, right?
How I wish I can turn back the clock and just stay as
primary school kid. Nothing to worry about, no complicated
things to think about.....

Ok, my results for 1st semester, quite high. But I am not satisfied. :(
These are my results:

MOB : A
IDEA : A
ITAB : B+
EC : B

Cumulative GPA : 3.731

As you can see, 2 A's, 1 B+ and 1 B.
GPA is 3.731. I know is high already but I am still disappointed.
I know you all must be saying, "Hey, Its damn good already!"
But for me, there are 2 goals I did not achieved.

1st Goal : Expected MOB to be Distinction but ended up an A.
Distinction is very hard to get in the first place. Must be in the top 5%.
I thought I can make it. But I did not. Was it because of the second project?
Tutor said my group did not get an A. Or was it because of the last test paper?

2nd Goal : I guess I did not become the "King" of the class. I think Shu Hui is the
"Queen" of the class this time round again. She already had all A's during MST.
Guess her GPA is around 3.8. Damn Sian. Why can't I become "King"?
Am I at my limit already?

With these 2 goals I did not accomplish, naturally I am disappointed.
Good news is that I am eligible for Diploma Plus. Well, those who got
GPA above 3.5 will be eligible. I am going for Business Mathematics and Economics.
That is the only Diploma Plus Certificate that benefit what I am studying.
But although eligible, still need to wait until they approve my application
then I can be accepted.

Academic aside, today went down to Funan IT Mall to work.
Well, I need to get people to sign up as member in the food web portal
called Wat2Eat. Mass SMSed to nearly all my contacts in my phone.
Really thankful to those who replied and helped me by providing the
details I needed. BIG THANKS TO YOU GUYS!!!! :)
But in the end, I got 16 applications (include my family and I),
so I earned only 16 dollars. 1 dollar per sign up.
I know is pathetic and low, but it still beats staying at home earning nothing.
Sad thing is that this pathetic 16 dollars can only collect after the incharge is
back. Really pathetic.

Saw Zhi Hong at the work place. Did not expect to see him working there too.
But his job is different from mine. At least he has basic, mine is totally commission.
Super Sian.

Yea, so fast its Saturday. Yesterday met with the Veterans at
Causeway Point around 2+ to 3. Ate at Jack's Place.
Well, its because of the Student Promotion then we went there.
If not, it is a no no. Haha. Joked and chatted while consuming our
food. Afterwards, Chee Yong and Nicholas went home and get change
since they came directly from school.

So Keefe, Jun Xian and I went to John's Little to look for Fiona Cheong.
She was working there. We went for a walk around the mall then
meet up with Fiona since she was going to have her break soon.
Followed her to eat her I supposed, dinner at Mac. Chatted and
then Fiona went back to her work and we trained to CCK Lot 1 to
meet up with Nicholas. Keefe went home first as he said his handphone
was dying. So played a few rounds of Initial D with Jun Xian and Nicholas
and then followed by the infamous Daytona. Damn sian, lost all the rounds
but fun though.

After which, went to our usual place. Waited for 985 for like damn long.
Happened to saw my Sister at the bus stop and Sharon in the bus.
Played till 10+ then went home.

That sums up yesterday. Nowadays damn sian. Economic recession le.
Going to declare bankrupt. Really hope my "investment" will have returns
then I will not be worry about my "economy" le.
Heard from NP peeps about their results. Well, pretty well done I guess.
Seems like those in business course did not do that well, as in GPA over 3.5.
They said their classmates did better than them which is over 3.5.

Wah, I really wondered if I am lucky for not getting into Business Studies.
Since those peeps in Business course de did not do as well as I thought.
Well, what do you expect? With so many "intelligent" people in NP Business
courses, it is difficult to get high scores.
For my case, I not so sure though. I only have around 70% of confidence that
my GPA will be what I expected. Even if I can get what I expected,
the paths in the future may not be as smooth as the current one..
Well, hope for the best bah. Wednesday coming soon.

Still need to wait for my previous boss to confirm with me weather

With so many outings these few days, naturally the expenses
increases linearly. I can declare an emergency state.

WARNING: "ECONOMIC DOWNTURN HAS COME!!"

Well, that explains it. Need to get a job. But difficult to find
given that so many jobs have criteria that I cannot met.
Still have $100 for my referral fee that I haven't received
from the person who introduced me to forex. Need to wait.
Also, I do pray hard that my next "investment" really work..

Tomorrow going to have lunch at Jack's Place with the Veterans.
Ironic right? "Economic downturn" already still want to go out
and have fun. Well, Jack's Place have promotion for students
that's why we decided to go there. Haha.

Heard from Jun Xian that NP's 1st Semester results will be out
tomorrow. Well, wish him and all the NP peeps good luck.
For SP peeps, we need to wait for next Wednesday, which
is 23rd of September. Really can't wait for it to come
as the results determine whether my goal will be achieve a not.

Actually I had sent to The Straits Times a letter regarding my thoughts
about "Why does the PAP win every General Election?"
Did asked a few peeps to help me take a look.
Unfortunately, my letter did not get published. Maybe too sensitive?
Who knows? Haha.

So woke up around 7+ and went to CCK to meet up with Chee Yong
to have a morning run at the stadium.
Well, running in the stadium is indeed easier than running on the
concrete pavements beside the roads.

After running, we went to have a light breakfast though
I only ordered drink. Then, went to Chee Yong's house to wait for
him to bath and change. While, he was bathing, I was helping
his sister in maths problem sum. Indeed, seems tricky as I have
lost in touch with maths like for so long.

Next was my turn, Chee Yong came to my house and I went for bathing.
After everything was done, we then took 190 to Ngee Ann City.
Went to Seoul Garden and started eating and chatting. Haha.

Then we walked all the way to the arcade at Dhoby Ghaut.
Really sorry to Keefe as I had forgotten to called him that we left Seoul Garden
already. HAHA. So played a few rounds of Initial D. Though I lost most matches,
It was really fun. Like you are really driving a car and having a race.

After which, went to Plaza Sing to catch the movie, Alien in the Artic. Very funny man!
Those kungfu unleashed by the granny.

Bused all the way to our usual hangout at the Bukit Batok. Played pool and so lucky,
I won Nicholas the first time!! haha.

Left the place at 10+ and home sweet home.
Haha. Had a great day man!

So today woke up and went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to source for
presents. Went to Mini-Toons. Had trouble picking which one as present.
Then I thought she feels bored easily so I picked a cow keychain with a
'smile' word on it and a winnie the pooh bear soft toy with a 'happy' word
on it. After which, went to NTUC to get the ingredients for Spaghetti.

Went home and started by frying the hotdogs. Next, is the boiling the
pasta noodle. And finally, the sauce. Well, overall still not bad.
Since I had experience cooking it during 2e3 '06 class chalet back
in 2006. haha. Well, still need to give credits to Royston as I asked him
for the tips and steps.

So packed everything and off I went to find her. Luckily she at Regent Heights
Condo. That is the place that I am familiar with due to the numerous
visits to Zi Kang house back in Secondary 2.

Passed her the spaghetti and the presents. Wanted to wait for her to
finish her project. So went to the clubhouse and played my PSP and
read newspaper. Then I had to go for gym as I meeting Chee Yong
at 4.30pm

Left le then she sent a message telling me that she at West Mall now
and asking me how to pass the container to me.
She also commented that the Spaghetti sauce is watery but overall not bad.

Luckily, I was in the bus which was near West Mall and then
I went back and take from her. Thought of sending her off, but aiya,
she going home with friend. So gg for me.

Changed of plan then went back to find Chee Yong and we went
for gym.

To Summarize, my Spaghetti sauce is watery!!!!!!
Need to improve on that. I added too much water to it I guessed.

Haha, tomorrow morning going to jog with Chee Yong and after that
to the meeting of the Veterans.

Ok, went to watched Where got ghost? with Jamie and her friend, Liting
at CCK Lot 1. The movie was not as scary as I thought.
Simply, one word, Funny.
It was funny even when the ghosts appeared. Haha.
Lots of Hokkien used, which contributed 99% of the humor.
A good movie to watch when you want to have a great laugh
while at the same time, a little horror. Haha.

After the movie, I happened to drop my PSP in the cinema!!
OMG!! Have to ran back into it and find. Luckily found it, if not
really gg for me. So after that, Liting left and Dion, Jamie's friend
came. Nothing much I have to say. My plan was foiled.

This Friday will be Seoul Garden with Veterans. LOLS.
Its been quite a time since I went to Seoul Garden.
Last Friday, at the usual place, I actually forgotten to
take my student pass from the counter!!!
Sian. Have to get off the bus after I realized I couldn't tap.

Recently, have been watching J-Dramas.
A few J-Dramas I would recommend to you guys are:

1) Oh! My Girl!!
2) Konkatsu!
3) Celeb to Binbo Taro

Here are the Synopsis for the 3 of them:

1)Oh! My Girl!!

Yamashita Kotaro was living a peaceful life as a publisher part-timer aspiring to be
a mobile phone novelist until two females suddenly appeared in his life.
One is his six-year-old celebrity niece and the other is the little girl's stern manager.
As he is forced to live under the same roof as the little prodigy,
their differences soon manifest and disputes ensue.
However, through co-habitation, Yamashita slowly comes to appreciate
having a family and the warmth it brings, all the while developing a
love-hate relationship with Fuji Mineko, the manager.




2) Konkatsu!

Amamiya Kuniyuki is the unemployed son of a tonkatsu restaurant owner.
He finds a job that requires a married person, so he lies by saying that he
has plans to marry, and he is forced to keep up the charade using Tobita Haruno,
a part-time worker from the restaurant. The relationship between the two is the
key of this romantic comedy, though the series also focuses on family and friendship
through Nakai's interactions with the other characters.



3) Celeb to Binbo Taro

Wealthy daughter of a hotel chain mogul meets poor widowed father of three.
Despite their vastly different values and beliefs, will their chanced encounter

All three dramas are nice. Mixture of comedy, romance
and family relationships.

2e3 '06 Dinner @ Dhoby Ghaut

Left house at around 11+ for a job briefing at Funan IT Mall.
Was pouring heavily while on the way day. Damn sian, had to
caught in the rain. After job briefing, Nicholas and Jun Xian
came and find me. Went to the arcade at Dhoby Ghaut. Played
a few rounds of daytona and Initial D with Nicholas.

Went to Plaza Sing and walk. Then met You Ming, Calvin and Wei Qiang.
Waited till 6.30pm and walked to control station to wait for the
others. Suprisingly, Ms Leow, our GOH for the night, arrive first.
So we went off the dinner place while Calvin stayed and waited.

Ms Leow gave birth to a baby girl!!! OMG!!!! I did not know until
she showed us the photo of her baby daughter. No wonder she gained
weight. Initially thought she became bigger due to other reason, then
realised it was due to her labour after she showed us the photo.

Ate and chatted with her. Left the place at around 9. Though some
of the people I expected them to come did not came, the gathering
was fun still.



Teacher's Day Celebration @ BVSS

Met Li Jing at BB Mrt at 8.45am. Saw Joel Fan and Euguene.
Walked to BVSS and met Hua Zhong at the gate. Signed in
and we went to the hall to see the performances.
Saw lots of new teacher. The Gee dance by the 5N girls
was not that perfect, but I gave them credits for their
courage. More ex-bukit viewans flocked in as time passes.

OMG!!! First time that Mrs Ng got a award!!! Hahaha. Congrats
to her. Of course, Mrs Yvonne Ong did recieve a award too!!!
She is a staple recepient for the award every year!!! Congrats!!!

Then went to HOD to chat with Mrs Ong. After which, went to
outside teacher's room to chat with Mrs Ng then Mdm Lock.
Then went down to the canteen to look at the photo collage at the wall.
Finally, we went to general office to chat with Mrs Grace Ong.
She is now the VP for BVSS!!! WOOTS!! Congrats!!! hahaha.

Waited for Mun Yee to come and we went to Mac to eat.
After eating, went to West Mall to catch a movie.
Intially wanted to sneak into the theatre to
watch The Final Destination. But the ticket seller
did not sell us the tickets. Damn Sian!!!
Hong Kwong they all managed to sneak in lo!!! Sian.
Well, we watched Year One instead. It was a great show!!!
Damn funny sia!!

Then went to Jun Xian house a while and met
Eric, Nicholas, Chee Yong, You Ming and Wei Qiang for
pool at the usual place. Saw the person at there,
not forgetting the !#$@#!@# guy.
Went off around 10+



Beach Outing @ Sentosa

Met Joel, Jia Qi, Bryan, Hua Zhong, Li Jing at BB
mrt platform. Mrt-ed to habourfront. We actually missed
a stop!! so we went back one stop to Outram Park to change
mrt. Met with Qi Heng at Harbourfront Mrt station.
Went to Giant @ Vivo to buy food and drinks for the pinic
we planned. Zhong Yan came then went to the ticket station
to get the entrance tickets to sentosa. Damn long since
I stepped into sentosa. Marcus and Hao Jie came later.

Went to the beach. Ate, played various games like
volleyball, monkey in the water and soccer.
Washed up and went to Aston @ The Cathay to have dinner.
Wan Ting, Pris, Fiona, Evelyn and Mun Yee came.
Ate and catch up with one another.

Left the place at around 10+.

HAAHAAA!!! Yesterday went to Celine's house to celebrate her 17th birthday!!!
The night was 1 word, G-R-E-A-T, GREAT!!!! Had tons of fun!!

So yea, went off early to meet up with Soon Eng and Shi Qi at West Mall
to get the present for Celine. Happened to saw Wan Ting and Hua Zhong
at the mrt station. They were waiting for Fiona to go to Expo to see some
Matsuri Festival. (For those who don't know, it is Japan's Summer Festival).

Roamed around West Mall for a while and then we decided to buy
Celine chocolates!!!! Hahaha!! She will confirm get FAT after eating all
those chocolates!!!

After which we boarded 176 to Celine's house.
OK!!!! FROM HERE ON IT WAS SOMETHING SO SHOCKING THAT
SOON ENG AND ME GOT STUNNED!!!!

So what's the matter you will ask. Well, we saw this group of girls
boarded the same bus as us. Then got 1 girl talked with a china
accent then Soon Eng and I thought they were from China.
(Sorry girls!!! No offence!!)

After we reached the bus stop and alighted, the girls alighted also.
They even headed the same direction as us!!!!!!
At that moment, Soon Eng and I was TOTALLY STUNNED!!!
We thought they were Celine's friends and indeed they were
as the girl I talked about 1 paragraph above shouted Celine's
name very loud. (no offence, yea, really sorry ar, Ma Xin!! XD)

Went in and saw many peeps. After a while Brenda came.
Celine said her friends are from SP!!!! Except Ma Xin if i remember correctly.
OMGWTFWTHZOMG!!! !@#@$%$#%#%#$%
Can you believe this?
OMG!! So there are many of my "Comrades" here after all.
that's I thought.

Then after while, dinner time @ 6.20pm. That's early. haha.
So we self-intro ourselves. Did not expect some of them are
from School Of Business!!!! This is more WTFZOMG!!!!! @#%^&##
After dinner, we played Taboo.

Yea, can't deny that there are some silences in between since
we first met each other. But, by night time, the table was turned.
We chatted like we knew each other for quite some time.
Haha. This had to do with the games we played.
We played rounds of Mafia!!! Best Man!!!!
I am the best killer!!! hahahahahha!!!

Then suddenly, the fans of Big Bang popped up at Celine's house.
Shocked too. Some of them were so young.
Well, some of them joined us in the game and it was great!!!

After cutting cake a few more rounds of Mafia and we went in and
played this game call "Say I love you" though technically, i do not
know the exact name for this game, but it was fun!!! The behaviours,
the facial expressions, the tone that each of us used to say I love you to
one another were damn funny!!!
For the last game, we played a few rounds of Cat and Mouse.
The forfeit was to dance Macarrena!!! hahahaha.

Soon, the happy time had come to an end. Everybody left the house that
filled with happy moments that night. But nonetheless, new friendships
were formed and most importantly, the BROTHERHOOD!!! hahahhaa.

Bused 963 back home with Yan Nong. Chatted about academic and non-academic stuffs
while in the bus. Amusingly, I found Yan Nong is a bit like Fiona Yeo. hahaha.

Hais, tomorrow PACC at 4pm. Sian. But, well, second last paper le.

Yea, time passes by so fast, so fast that it is the time for exams and tests.
Luckily, for us year 1s, we only have 4 papers to take.
They are: MOB, ITAB, PACC and Economics.
For year 2 and year 3, they got more.
Hais..I have to go through that next year. haha.

Tomorrow is MOB Final Test.
Hope I can score a full score.
That will make me improve and with the full score,
I can say this module will be a distinction.
Haha.

Wednesday is ITAB, the most feared module. Haha.
This time test on Microsoft word. Should be easier than
Microsoft Excel. Hope at least a B and above.

Next Monday and the Next next Monday will be
PACC and Econs
Really hope I can do well for both the papers.
Though these 2 modules are not calculated in this semester
GPA, once I do well, the next semester will be a smoother one.

LOLs. Met a new friend in the usual hangout with the veterans.
She was the counter girl and work there. haha. Quite surprised that she knew
Karen and Gilbert, my primary school friend. Haha.
Was shocked when we were about to leave last 2 weeks,
She asked me,

"Hey, you are Karen's friend right?"
I nodded and said yes. Haha. World is small indeed.

Ok, time to end off. Stupid school, purposely make it
a LATE EVENING paper!!!! 5.15pm for MOB tomorrow.
Stupid right? Just like O level's English.
Aaaarggghh!!!!

Well, time for a short update.


~Qi Heng's House Warming~

Done all the cards needed for Taboo game for later
in the afternoon. Then went off to meet Dinah at Bukit Panjang
Bus interchange. Bused to Jelapang Station.
Saw QH and the guys. Waited for like 45 minutes for all
to reach lo. LOLs. Then after that, walked to QH house.

His house is very nice. Big, Spacious, many rooms and
most importantly, class.
Talked a bit then had early dinner. While having dinner,
some of them went down to pick Fiona up.

So after eating, watched TV. Waited for the others to finish
eating. Then played the Taboo. Too bad Li Jing need to
go off early because of skating.
Winnie and Pris came. Then we all started to play taboo.
Seems all had fun while playing Taboo.

After that, we played the guess song title game for
a while. Then played the "Asshole Dai Dee"
So crap but yet quite fun. Others played mahjong.

Later, some left for home. Talked to Wan Ting
while watching Boys Over Flower in QH's room.
Long time no chat with her le. Need to chat with her
longer in the next meeting. Haha.

Then Bryan taught us the Bridged game.
Finally I got most of it. Quite fun though.
The rest left le except some guys.
Continued the Bridged game for a while then
walked home.

Haha, QH's house so near to mine. Next time
very easy can go his house.

~The days before Saturday~

Quite busy for the past few days. With MOB Report
to do, IDEA Project and EC Interview.
Well, after next week should be quite relaxing for a while.
I stressed, for a while only. Because of upcoming
exams in a few weeks time. Need to start study le.
MOB Final Written Paper on 17/8. So fast.

Sian, Friday the so called "big" day was a failure.
Thought I could performed but did not in the end.
Because of 1 crap guy.
I intended to performed for the whole group.
Then he extra come and say these :

"What you want to show me?"
"What is it for?"
"Sorry, I not interested."

Notice the "I" used. He thought I was gonna
show HIM something. My intention was
to show the group, NOT HIM and HIM ALONE!!!
If he not interested he could have continue playing his
pool. There was no need for him to say anything.

So, no choice but to go back.
Damn angry of that guy.
Then later on got a chance. But I was indecisive
and this opportunity slipped out of my hand.
Damn sian, even Chee Yong wanted to bash me.
LOLs.

Probably my approach was wrong?
The sad thing was that I could even
get the person's name!!!! I heard of friends
saying the name but I couldn't catch it.

If I could at least got the name, the lost
would be minimized. Minimized to TFC.
LOLs Econs application.

Jun Xian told me. That's true though,
Well, hope have chances next time.
Probably won't be in the pool place anymore.

Ok, this post will update on my results I got back from MST.
Overall, still ok, but  I am still not satisfied.

Economics - 92/100
Statistics for Business - 87/100
PACC (POA) - 97/100
ITAB - 57/100

As you can see, the worst is my ITAB. Damn sian. As expected.
Luckily did not fail. You guys may think that my results are very good.
To tell you the fact, it is not. As I said earlier, the tests were easy.
And most people or rather, the whole School Of Business
got these kind of results. It is really common to ask anyone in my course
their results, and they will reply you with scores like mine.

One more thing, my ITAB really pulled me down.
Now my position as "king" was completely taken away
by another person. Damn disappointed.
Thought I can be one step closer to my goal.
Seems not for now. A terrible defeat indeed.
Nonetheless, I still have chance. That is the upcoming
End of Semester Exams. Need to speed up already.

Today went to my aunt's house to help her to install
anti-virus. Yes, I helped her installed AVG Free Anti-Virus, the
one I using now. Really surprised to hear from my small cousin
asking me technology stuff.
Imagine a Primary 2 kid asking you that! Somemore it is a girl!!
She asked me from Habbo Hotel, Facebook to Youtube and MSN.
LOLs. Interesting? Kids nowadays really got influence badly by technology.

Saw this person at the usual hangout with the Veterans. For those who
don't know, they are, Jun Xian, Chee Yong, Nicholas and Keefe.
Seems to be interested in this person. Got a feeling this person
is from SP. Wanted to get number but scared. Haha.
Hope this person will be there this coming Friday.
Will be performing my "routine" then ask for number bah.

Back to update on Cosfest VIII. Overall, still ok but was not as good and lively as
last year's. Probably it was held in July as opposed to June for last year's event.
Not much people though. Went there with Soon Eng and Keefe. Upon reaching
there, saw many cosplayers and photographers snapping away.
Saw many unknown characters. But the known ones were there.
Bleach, Naruto, Gundam Seed, Vampire Knights and many more.

After rounds of searching, we finally found Angie and Stanley who were
cosplaying at that time. Took photographs with them. Saw Louise they
all too at there. As for the programs lined up, it was the annual Anime
Singing Competition and the winner was a Indian girl who sang
trust you from Gundam 00 Season 2 Ending 2. Was shocked as she
sang in Japanese very fluently and her voice was very similar to the
original singer, Yuna Ito. Some pictures below showed some characters
that I liked among the cosplayers.

This includes, Mio from K-ON!, Arachne from
Soul Eater, Halibel and Nell from Bleach.
Damn sian, didn't managed to find
Yachiru and take photo with her cuz she was damn cute. Haha.

Yea, the MST week is over and I am quite disappointed in one test.
An update about the tests.

~MST~

Monday was MOB paper. For those who don't know, it stands for
Management and Organization Behaviour.
I must say that the paper was rather easy.
All the questions I could do, what worried me were the
2 examples for the 1st question. Scared that it might be wrong.
Hope it is correct. :) haha.

Tuesday was Economics paper. Again, it was simple, at least for 95%.
Couldn't believed it. Economics is one of the modules that
many people have troubles comprehend it.
1 MCQ wrong. Sian. 2 marks gone. Cause forgot the part on TP and MP.
Scared last question wrong. The question was confusing.
If wrong, well, score will be 45/50. Not bad too, huh? haha.

Wednesday was PACC. It is POA for those who don't know.
Easy again. The last question wasn't a proper question at all!
haha. Guessed my corrected net profit is wrong.
Cause different from others.

Here comes the most disappointing paper. ITAB.
Stands for IT Applications for Business.
Crap sia. 45% gone!!!!
Cause I couldn't get the 1st part correct
Moreover, the questions for that part were structured in
a way that the next question is related to the previous
question. Damn sian lo. 1st part cannot do, the rest gg.
Mind you, it was Microsoft Excel. Haizz..now can only pray for
a just pass lo. :(

Friday was Statistics For Business. Last paper, but tough.
The questions were tricky and tedious. Some more, they
asked for definitions. Tell me, who will go memorize definitions
for maths-related paper? But luckily, most of it I got it correct.

Last question is damn tedious. Ask you to calculate median for ungrouped
data is ok, but the question wanted you to calculate median
for grouped data. damn sian. Hope I get correct. The probabilities too. :)
Hope for a high score for this paper.

The most important is that I am quite unhappy that the papers are quite
easy. Imagine all School Of Business year 1 students taking the same
paper!!?? That will be around 600 or more people!!!
This mean that there will be more people have higher chance to get A.
Sian. Nonetheless, I hope there will be 4 "A"s for the 4 papers
except ITAB. Wonder when will the papers be return to us?
I want the results now!!


Haizz...another 1 and a half month to end of semester exams!!
OMG!! That is too fast!! Still got new topics to cover!!
Maybe it is time for me to shift my gear up to 2??
Like Luffy, "Gear Second!!!" hahahahaha..
Need to accelerate le, I guess...

Back. Will update this LJ with recent events.

1st was the SIFE National Competition 09 held in Suntec Convention Centre
today and 2nd was the BBQ Gathering.


~SIFE National Competition 09~

Ok. Reached there at about 8.50am. Isyana and I went to register and had our
breakfast. Saw lots of people, from different institutions and companies.
Went in and settled down. Saw our seniors and wished them good luck.

The event kicked off with the opening speech by the Managing Director
of HSBC, Mr. Chris Hurd.

The team that started was SMU SIFE Team.
Overall, I found their presentation skills were excellent, slides were
very well done with animations. The presenters were confident.
One problem I had was that I could not comprehend all the projects they highlight.

The second team was RP SIFE Team.
One word about them was they were B-A-D, bad.
The slides were boring and plain, the presenters were presenting while glancing their
scripts. In fact, they were the only team did that.
During Q&A Sessions, they dug their own grave by saying the wrong things, talked
too much about unnecessary stuffs and making a fool out of themselves.
Needless to say, they were out.

A short break next and the 3rd team kicked off and it was TP SIFE Team.
Presentations skills were great. As good as SMU's. Slides were well done with
animations. Presented very clearly but the only core problem they had was
their projects did not really impact much on others' lives which  was one of the SIFE's Objectives.

Lastly, was my seniors' team. The SP SIFE Team.
Started off a short video. Their presentations were great. No flaws.
The presenters were very confident. The slides consists of most videos which I supposed.
This was totally different from other teams. The song they used with the videos, really can
touched one's heart. Their projects were the best out off all teams.
All the judges who asked them questions started with "It is great", "Great efforts" and so forth.
The results of their projects were great!! They could earn a revenue which was many times fold than
the original starting investments. 2 words, Well Done!!

When the Managing Director of HSBC was announcing the result and said
"Again, the winning team is...Singapore Polytechnic!!!"
We all cheered loudly, clapped loudly shouting from the top of our lungs.
We are very happy and so do the team themselves. They screamed, they laughed.
Their hard work had indeed paid off. I was so touched that I had decided to join
the SIFE Team in the upcoming projects.
Hope I will one of them in the stage presenting.
Just what Mr Ricky Sim said,

"After the competition, celebrate all you want because tomorrow morning
is the start of the nightmare."

Which is true, since they will be representing Singapore in the SIFE World Cup 2009
in Berlin, competing with many countries all over the world.

Really happy that they had won. Last note, now then I realized that those top level
people from big companies can actually joke with you!! Haha.
I thought they are people with serious attitude. haha.
Learned lots of stuffs through the event even though I was just the supporter.

Next, the BBQ Gathering.

~BBQ Gathering @ Joel's House~

It was held at Joel's house downstairs on Wednesday.
After appointment with doctor in the morning,
I rushed to Joel's house to meet with Qi Heng.
Went to bought drinks for the BBQ and Chee Yong, Marcus and Bryan came.
So we started preparing the beehoon and the prawns.
Fried for 2 times then Joel's mum helped us.
Really paiseh for us to allow her to help.
Since it was suppose to be our job.
While others prepare the lucky draw.

Pris and Hua Zhong came later.
Night came and we went down to BBQ.
People came and we chatted.
Went to bought beers.
Played Ice man later and took alot of photos with Jun Xian's macbook.
Played till 11+ and we left.
Though the time was rather short, it was a great time seeing them and
talking with them.
Hope there will be more gatherings next time.

Yoz!! Guys!! How's is it going? I know this blog is going to die at any moment now,
but don't worry, here I am going to revive it.

First off, an update of me in school

Well, I joined SPSE and Food Connoisseur Club.
Both CCAs are event-based, which is good since It is not
compulsory to meet each week!

Went for SPSE Welcome Tea Session.
Met 2 new friends. W00Ts!!
Signed up for all the events except for the camp.
LOLs. Seems like not much people joined the camp.

Actually, at the same time when the Tea Session was being held,
the Food Connoisseur Club had a mass briefing session.
Cannot make it because of SPSE.

So the opportunity cost of going to SPSE Welcome Tea Session is
Food Connoisseur Club mass briefing!! LOLS!! Economics Theory applied!!

Seems like I have finally found a friend with the same mindset as me in SP!
Really looking forward to the next time I meet her!! :)

Next is some Academic stuffs.

Ok, was kinda happy that my MOB Tutor said my group was
the highest of all the groups for CA1 presentation. This included
all the class she taught. And I got the highest score for CA1!! W00ts!
But was really disappointed when she said :

"All the groups score an A for CA1. The highest is 17 out of 20 and others got 15-16."

It was unfair! That's what I thought. Seriously, how can all the groups
get an A? Groups that put in a lot of efforts should deserved an A.
But why is it ALL get A?? This is ridiculous!! What I see is that NOT every group
is as HARDWORKING as my group. My group meet a lot of time to reherse the presentation.
Somemore, it is just 1-2 marks difference!!

If that's the case, what is the point of the grades?
Might as well, everyone get A!!

Nevertheless, I will keep on working hard to maintain my status, or better still,
number 1.

This coming Friday is IDEA CA2 presentation!! Need to start preparing already!!
Sian thing is that all the groups in my class doing F&B.
Confirm all get the same marks again. Sian.

Lastly, some reflection.

Don't know why, I just feel my class isn't a good place for me.
The guys are easily to minger with. As for the girls, half of them
are very difficult to get along with.

Haiz....felt demoralized after every Economics Tutorials.

Why I can't get all correct? Is it because I am still not use to the module?
Why the rest of the modules I can manage?
Really, I need to work harder and harder. MST coming after holidays.
Gonna study hard and accomplish my goal. And that will bring me
a step closer to my 3-year plan.

Presently, my mind is thinking about her, wanting to know her even more. Maybe I... haha..
Its been a long time since I have this feeling. First time was...you should know..

Hey. Here to update about my poly life.

Well, things were quite alright for the first 2-3 days but when it came to the end of the first week,
things changed. Initially i thought my class can be bonded very well, just like 4E4, but I came to see
that it will never happen. For the first 2-3 days, wherever we went, we were in one whole class.
But after a while, the class started to split into cliques. Things did not happened the way i expected.
I know people need freedom, especially in poly. I did not want the class to become autocratic, neither
I want my class to become so "split up". But no choice, i had done my best.

I did have a feeling that some people were trying to distance themselves from me.
Cara told me that some people do not like my "high profile" attitude.
I was totally taken aback by what she said.
What i did was to ask some questions during lectures, yes, maybe the questions are rather "chim"
and people thought i was trying to show off.
But  I was not trying to show off. 1st, questions I asked were things that i not too sure of.
2nd, other people in the lecture can learn from the questions that i asked.
Is that show off?

Probably yes to some off them. I knew people came from all kinds of background, including me.
Some may have the slacking attitude but what i have is the passion, the inquisitive for and about the world of business.
Ok, I noted that and tried not to asked too much questions as i do not want my 3 years life in poly to be a bad one,
where people talking about me behind my back.

I also felt that in poly, true friends can never be made. Informations and rumours can spread so fast. I know this is a common
sight in secondary school and you will ask me to get along with it, but in poly it is no joke.
Imagine spreading to thousands of people in all kind of courses compared to a few classes or the whole level in secondary school.
Now, which is worse?

Nonetheless, I do not want to care about others too much for now. I need to speed up and focus on my 3-year plan
that i have planned before poly starts. Maybe it is time to review the plan?
What my goal now is to have my name appear in the Honour Roll list for School Of Business.
Honour Roll is a list of people who got 3.5 and above for their GPA. My target will be as near as 4.0.
Wish me luck! Haha.

Ok, out of all the 5 modules i taking this semester, the weaker ones would be PACC (POA if those don't know) and Economics.
This is because the lecturers for this 2 modules always did not explain clearly. Who knows, they may be better
as time pass? I need to buck up on this 2 modules. Luckily i have my sister who took POA during her secondary school
and my best buddies, Chee Yong and Nicholas, whom can help me in econs.

I know you are getting very bored already, so i will end here and hopefully i can post some interesting things.

Hey. Here to update on FOP. Seriously, it rocks!!! Love my class!! DBA/FT/1A/09 rocks!!!
Well, i will summarised the events during these 4 days.

Day 1:

Ok, I was late. Went into  MLT12 at about 9.20am. Supposed to be seated in there by 9am.
I was late due to traffic jam. Sian. Stupid bus so slow and long.
Then listened to one teacher telling us about the SPICE Training.
Then do the survey. Most people got error after they click submit. So LOL de lo. Then the Head of Library (I think) cum marketing lecturer came
and told us about ELISER and library things. Kinda boring in the morning.

Then we went to ate our lunch at foodcourt 4. It is Koufu. Shimah, one of our faciliators brought us there.
Got really LOTS of STORES. Can see until siao. Same goes to queue. Queue till u siao. No wonder all poly's break time is at least
1 hour.

After lunch went to a classroom and play some ice-breaking games. Then before the end of 1st day program, Keng Lai, one of our facils,
told us to pick 1 chairman, 1 vice-chairman and 1 treasurer. It was William who kena sabo but he insisted that he don't
want to become chairman.
Then suddenly someone shouted my name, then all the guys vote me lo, i think some girls too. Then it was decided
that i am the chairman. Wth. lols.
Then Yan Yee is the vice-chairman and Zhi Hong is the treasurer. Then before we went off, we took a class photo.

Day 2:

This time i was punctual. Went to SPCC. Listened to the principal of SP, director of School Of Business and
also the In-Charge of SB Club, Kareen talked. Then watched a video of CCAs. Not bad. Quite exciting.
Then after which we have our early lunch. Again went to food court 4 but full already so we went to food court 5
where the KFC and Pizza Hut housed there. So queued and sat down for food. We had difficulty finding seats.

So after lunch, went back to SPCC . Then we were supposed to play some games but the Facils suggested to seat down in
1 circle and slack, talk and play our own games. Cause we have to be back in SPCC in 1 hour time so we might as well stay in it.
Chatted and played Truth or Dare. LOLs. I kena it and i chose dare and there dare me to go in front of the 2 guys from other class
who were hugging each other due to forfeit, and shout "EH!! You 2 gay ar!!" to them. I did. Damn funny sia. The 2 guys were like WTF.
Then Shatosh (should be like that spell) asked us why we come SP. Some of us, including me, said cannot get into NP so come to SP.
After which we were dismissed. Went home after that.



Day 3:

Head to MLT12 to listened to some of the lecturers talking. They talked about SB and the course of DBA.
Then a graduated woman, gave us a talk about life in SP and IN DBA. She damn pro lo.
She was a top O-level student, went into DBA in SP which was her first choice then got scholarship, top student of her corhort
in DBA. Went to NUS and got scholarship. Now working in SGX. She power la. I gonna be like her man!!
Then do 1 quiz. After which collected our tin can and shirt for the last day Flag Day. After which, hang around with the class abit.
Talk to one of my classmates and showed her one of my tricks. Then bused home.


Day 4:

I tell you. This is i think the best day out of the 4. OK, so we reported at Chinatown MRT Station. Wait till 7.30am like that for the late comers.
Then Keng Lai our facils, suggested that we will stop at 10am then we go eat breakfast then slack. So we were ok with it.
So we started to go collect donations. The class split up. I was with Cara and we went to the shophouses, the food market and the
wet market. I tell you, there were no single soul in the places we went except for the food and wet market.
While collecting halfway, saw many SP Peeps doing donations too.

When we were back to the starting point, we saw Jian Wee, Jian Lee, Xianren and Jasmine. They said they don't feel
like doing already cause no one in Chinatown. So we suggested to slack and talk lo. Then after a while, Annabel and Shu Hua
saw us and joined us. Then Annabel wanted to go eat at the Macdonalds beside us. Then I suggested to call everyone back
to eat lo. Damn funny sia!! My first sentence to those i called was,

" Hello, ______(name). Where are you? We here got a few people don't want to do already and we want to go eat. Want join us?
We at outside OG."

Surprisingly, all said ok and they came back. Except for William and Terrence group. They came back later.
So we ate at Mac. Chatted and slacked. Our Facils also at there lo. They also slacked. Haha.

Then after all ate finish, Keng Lai and Shatosh then came and ask us wheather want go esplanade rooftop and slacked.
So we all went there. While in the MRT Station, we split into 2 groups to see wheather which group will reach first.
Cause there were 2 directions to go there. So my group reached first but we were like strolling then upon reaching Esplanade,
we saw the other group so we started to chiong and run.
In the end we reached first but Jeanell and Shimah, our facils, denied and said because Titus and Suffie, again our facils, wanted to eat
so they went to Haagen Daz a while. LOLs.

After a while, we switched to the seats at the ground floor cuz got abit of drizzle. There, Xianren showcased his Hip-Hop dances.
Damn cool la!! Very nice lo. Then the stupid Shatosh go get a tin and going around and started to collect money from the visitors
seating a few seats beside us lo. Like WTF la. Piangzz!! Got 1 security guard came and told us not to stand on the stage and do not collect money in the esplanade. So we stopped lo. Then i too, showcased some of my tricks. Then played Indian Poker and went to lunch at
KFC at Marina Square. We chatted there and i asked Keng Lai about 1st year exams hard anot. He said ok lo.
Haha. So we chatted about O levels and other things. Then Keng Lai said a sentence,

" Wah, your class got so many talents. You got a dancer, a magician, a few soccer pros and also scholars (meaning Jasmine and me)."
LOLs.

After which we bused back to SP. LOLs then i asked the facils about which options they chose. 2 of them chose retail management,
3 of them chose marketing and 1 chose International Business and Trade. Haha. I wanna choose International Business and Trade lo.

Counted the money in my tin and got a briefing by our Econs cum PTN Tutor. Need to buy a few books sia. Haha.
Then actually wanted to go to the party for freshmen but i see like no much people go leh plus i don't know wheather
BVSS Peeps got go anot. So i went home lo. Haizz..

Good thing is tomorrow is Speech Day!!!! Yea, finally can meet those with 5 Distinctions and above holders!!
